I think it might even be cheapest to buy a simple cheap android phone (around 50€ or second hand) and hide it inside the bag.
They are sturdy enough, you can upload tracking apps and recharging should be done every time before leaving home.
You could turn off the screen to save battery (maybe even break it in order to prevent being able to use it in case it gets discovered).

We'd have to pay for the service for the phone, as well as the phone itself though :? . I think in the long run it'd be cheaper to use normal trackers. That is if we account the electricity costs to charge the phones.

From what I read, I haven't really seen anything that works - seems like there's always some sort of catch.
Does any1 have experience with a tracking device that costs less than 5€ per month?
