Ok... so this guy martyn3397 is selling two Halo's for a Buy It Now of $2,995.95. For the La-Serena-high-B he uses pictures from Pantheon's real ebay auction. I do recall that one went for $8,000 or so. The Melglog-Selisir has the same type of description, except he bought it from a friend and is now selling it for a little more than that price..

Almost certainly a scam IMHO.

Have you noticed the Buy It Now button does not actually exist as claimed in the description? It would go away once a bid is placed, but none has been entered for either auction at this time, yet the buttons are not there. I think they are hoping someone will write them saying they want to Buy It Now but can't, and then the seller will say something like, "Whoops! No problem, just send us the payment and we will end the auction."

Interesting to see two scams coming from an account with a rather large ebay history. Wonder if the person's account was hijacked solely for the purpose of posting these two auctions.

First, as the La Sirena 10 must be a unique model, it should be very easy to check with Pantheon Steel if this sale is legit : they know their buyers. How easy do you think it is to lay your hands on a rare, maybe unique 10-note Halo ? Checking must also be easy for the Melog-Selisir with its serial number (#S405). Second, they totally stole Pantheon Steel's auction text (see the we and the our, etc., see http://www.befr.ebay.be/itm/NEW-Pantheon-Steel-Halo-with-Soft-Bag-La-Sirena-10-tuning-/170969728025)

As far as I'm concerned, the scam risk is extremely high (far beyond 100%...).

"Sold-as-is" meaning that if you ever get something, it is unlikely to be what you expect.
