Second Gen Hang?

Postby Mothman » Sun Aug 31, 2014 6:18 pm

So I was pretty suspect of this as this guy had just created this ebay account and had a gmail address he asked to be contacted by before bidding. However the sale ended through ebay so I'm now wondering if someone actually got a second gen for under $3k

That listing was a 100 percent scam . Anytime there is the little phot insert that asks to contact privately its a scam .

That's what I had figured but I thought it was in the interest of trying to arrange a transaction outside of ebay with its buyer protection. I was surprised to see a final ebay price.

Sometimes the scammer will let the auction run it's course and then contact the high bidder with a story about why they need to have the money wire transferred ( usually to a bank in the uk ) rather than use paypal ... Thus nullifying any eBay protection .
